er hat meinem rhodes neues leben eingehaucht...
kompetenter typ, gelernter klavierbauer und selber vollblutmusiker.
er weiss, worauf es ankommt und nimmt sich die zeit, um diese wunderbaren alten instrumente wieder in einen top-zustand zu bringen.

he fixed my seventy three (mark I) and turn it into a remarkable instrument. all that for a really, really nice prize.

Wenn es um mein Rhodes geht gibt es nur einen Menschen der die Lizenz zum schrauben hat: Severin Häfeli. Als gelernter Klavierbauer und vollblutmusiker weiss er genau worauf es ankommt. Er hat mein Mark1 studiotauglich gemacht. Das Spielgefühl ist eine wahre Freude und der Sound unschlagbar. Vielen Dank für deine super Arbeit. |

Hab mein Bühnengepferchtes und verlottertes Fender Rhodes Mark I SeventyThree zu Severin gebracht und - siehe da - es tönt wieder wie ein richtiges Fender Rhodes. Er hat mir sogar ein paar Arbeitsstunden erlassen, damit wir im Budget bleiben...nur Schade, dass mein Geld für neue Dämpfer nicht mehr gereicht hat. Wenn es dann soweit ist, bringe ich es wieder zu budig. Kann ihn wirklich empfehlen. |

Severin does an incredible job - at an unbeatable price. His knowledge of both Rhodes and Wurlitzer Pianos is most profound, and he truly can work wonders on your instrument. His passion and enthusiasm for those pianos is unparalleled, and there's not a single problem he cannot solve.
But most importantly, Severin gave back the spirit to my pianos: now they are playable, they are recordable, and they are a constant source of inspiration. I can sit at them for hours, and the ideas keep coming. How great is that?!? Thanks so much, Severin... P.S.: Sorry for always forgetting to offer you something to drink... :-) |

Un petit compte rendu en français, afin de montrer que les compétences de Severin vont même dans les contrées romandes...
J'ai amené mon Rhodes Mark 1 dans un état assez déplorable. Il manquait des tines, des barres de résonnance, des coussinets, bref il ne sonnait plus comme il devait. Après maintes tentatives de l'arranger un peu avec les moyens de bord, j'ai decidé de l'amener chez Severin pour un service complet. C'est vrai ça a un peu duré, mais alors ça vallait la peine d'attendre...Mon Rhodes est comme neuf ! Comme si je l'avais acheté la semaine passée ! Et dire que je l'ai acheté il y a 10 ans pour une somme dérisoire de 80 frs (environ 50 Euros) à quelqu'un qui trouvait que c'était un instrument pas utile car il n'avait qu'une seule sonorité et qu'il était un peu lourd pour le porter. Mon Rhodes est une des pièces maîtresse dans mes quelques vieux instruments (vieille cx-3, JP8, Pro Soloist...) et il met une touche très funk dans nos productions !
Alors grand grand merci à Severin pour le temps passé sur la bête, le soin qu'il y a porté.
Je ne peux que vous le recommander vivement ! |

After being lucky getting a Rhodes 54 in good shape I am even happier letting Severin do some work on it! He did high-quality restauration at a very reasonable price - thanks a lot!

severin did a great job on my markII. he really got the best out of it (I have bought it years ago in a very bad estate), I am very happy with the sound and tuning. If you want highly professional work done on your baby, choose severin!

Excellent work - Severin brought back that great sound and smooth key action that I missed on my old MarkI ever since I acquired it. And he managed to stay well below budget, even though he had to replace a number of parts that were broken or had gone missing during my piano's previous 25 years of existence! If you need competent service for a good price, he's the man. |

Hatten unser "Suitcase-EightyEight" bei "Budig" im Service.
Der innere Holzrahmen war gebrochen,
der Amp war defekt sowie div. kosmetische Details die über die Jahre nach einem Eingriff verlangten ...
Es hat zwar eine Weile gedauert dafür klingts wieder voll Gangster und aussehen tuts auch fast wie neu.

For quite some time my seventythree Mark l needed some restoration ( tuning, balance, internal noises and distortion). Severin made it possible to come to my rehearsal space to replace what was needed and do all the work necessary in one day. Now my Fender Rhodes are a joy to play again and are ready for the professional live and studio work, I use it for with my band.
Severin is not only very reliable and highly competent when it comes to Rhodes, but also supremely efficient at a fair price. All that besides his friendly persona makes him highly recommendable to me! Thank you Severin!! |
