Comments:  Colorful. Spirited. Enigmatic. Cliché-free. Weather Report on the height of their art before degrading themselves to a mere backing band of a gifted yet immature and self centered bassplayer.

Comments:  I don't know man, I guess I have to admit I'm a big Jaco fan, but that aside, what do people see in this album? None of the songs are concise, the sound is terrible, there are no solos, etc. Most of the worthwhile tunes on this became much cooler live once Jaco was incorporated into the band. Granted, Alphonso Johnson is great, but you just can't deny Jaco. Check out Black Market if you want to hear the best of both worlds.

One of their absolute best!!!
This album is Weather Report at the top of their game (also check out Tale Spinnin', Black Market, Heavy Weather, Mr. Gone & Night Passage).

Comments:  My absolute favorite of the first seven WR studio albums. Lots of folks especially from Amazon tend to diss this album and say that there isn't much in the way of melody. I just shake my head and think, 'they've been spoiled by listening to too much rock music'.
