I work in the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory as a Concert Piano Technician. I have 9 years experience of Rhodes Pianos service and repairs. Also I have many NOS & Reproduction Parts for FenderRhodes/Rhodes Pianos.

Comments:  Great work, Alexei! My Mark I Suitcase though came to me nice cosmetically performed very poor both mechanicaly and intonative. Being serviced by Alexei now it became very serious studio weapon! He applied to my Rhodes the same great attention to details as it needs to concert grand pianos, thanks to his conservatory experience. I doubt this suitcase sounded so well even back in 1972. Alexei is a nice man to talk too, very informative and friendly. Thank you very much for your work, Man!

Comments:  A great honest technician who knows the real price for his services. He has been working for Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory's as an official piano technician for many years so his keyboard engineering skill is undoubtable.
Alexei said he had first tried the Rhodes in the beggining of 2000's - since then he became the one and only Russia's electric piano pro tech. He's really into the electric-mechanical instruments' theme now, though he's still doing the service job for all pianos in the Conservatory.
I got an early stage model Mk. I - 1972 Fender Rhodes in a good condition, but without a footpedal and with two sunken keys (seems like it was a transportation flaw - the instrument was transported by the sea - humid air affected the instrument's wood, so the keys swelled and got stuck).
I found Alexei after a brief search on the web. He immediately ordered a footpedal on ebay and did a quick interior service job after which my rhodes played and sounded magnificent. I had a couple of gigs after that, but I still was waiting for the footpedal to arrive. Each time Alexei kindly lended me one.
I absolutely admire his skills and the quality of the service he does - Alexei is attending any Rhodes perfomance in Moscow (not only mine) - he's been tuning and servicing for Roy Hargrove, Erykah Badu e.t.c.
He's good and he's not cheap - it's the best description. I'd recommend him to any Rhodes owner in Russia.
