The only thing holding me back from a top rating is the vocal work. Although everything is dated sounding in general (of course), the vocals' tonal qualities are detractors from the overall effectiveness (IMHO). The Rhodes work is of course outstanding, as pieces sometimes progress to double-time to feature fast lines on the instrument. |
